Haynie's Corner Arts District Association

Haynie's Corner Arts District Association

A group of volunteers came together in 2011 to form a board and organize around shared values hoping to promote art and enhance and the neighborhood. Creating a mission, developing bylaws, and establishing an executive committee along with formal board members allowed the group to established itself as a 501c3 in 2015. Working to support the neighborhood’s needs, develop and support art and artists while featuring local businesses is the goal. Using events to further this goal and increase visibility, the group meets monthly and is now focused on ways to make an even bigger and lasting impact to the community.

Our Mission

We desire to promote the arts, encourage and educate creative minds, and to foster economic development in our community through the networking of local artists, businesses and residents.

Public Meetings

Public Meetings

Monthly public meetings are held at one of Haynie’s Corner popular local restaurants or pubs. This is a time for neighbors to come together to hear about the work of the Haynie’s Corner Arts District Associaton, ask questions and get more involved. Promoting transparency about fundraising efforts, improvement projects and concerns, the monthly meeting gives space for all to feel a part of the work. This time is also just a great way to see friends and catch up. There are many ways to volunteer so put us on the public meeting calendar and check out our volunteer page.
